Worried about getting approved for a bank account in Nebraska because of past mistakes? You might actually have more options than you think. There are plenty of non-ChexSystems and second chance checking accounts located throughout the state.
What’s the difference between the two?
A non-ChexSystems bank doesn’t check your record in ChexSystems. They may just ask for a photo ID or use another system such as a credit report, Telecheck, or EWS.
Second chance banking, on the other hand, refers to banks that are willing to work with you despite your ChexSystems record. There’s often a monthly fee and it may come with restricted features.
